This Week at a Glance (April 20-24)

Free and low-cost scheduled activities for babies and toddlers this week in DC

Programming Updates:

• The National Zoo is debuting Linh Mai, the baby (calf) elephant, on Wednesday, April 22. The Elephant Community Center will also reopen.

• The DC Air and Space Museum Thursday Story Time and Craft will now take place on the 2nd floor, in the Barron Hilton Pioneers of Flight area

• DC Public Libraries will be closed on Friday, April 24 for a professional development day

• The Smithsonian Carousel reopens on Friday, April 24. Passes will be available for purchase at the ticket booth during normal operating hours, 10:00am. to 5:00pm daily.

• Petworth Library is closed for renovations until further notice; the Bellevue/William O. Lockridge Library is closed from Wednesday, Apr. 8 - Wednesday, Apr. 22 for interim air conditioner repairs. It is expected to reopen on Thursday, Apr. 23

• Rock Creek Park's Nature Center and Planetarium are closed until further notice
