Free and low-cost scheduled activities for babies and toddlers this week in DC
Program Updates:
Mt. Pleasant Library is temporarily CLOSED for renovations; scheduled to reopen in late June 2025. During this time, baby lap time and toddler story time will take place at Rita Bright Family & Youth Center on 14th and Chapin.
Rock Creek Park Nature Center is CLOSED until further notice for renovations; children's programming will take place at the Peirce Barn (at Tilden St NW and Beach Drive NW)
Little Critters: Nature Play at the National Zoo will remain in the Think Tank building until further notice; they may re-open their space in the Bird House starting in March

Note: Recreation, community, and aquatic centers under the Department of Parks and Recreation (DCPR) will be closed. Outdoor DCPR parks will remain open.
