Free and low-cost scheduled activities for babies and toddlers this week in DC
A few notes about programs on Thanksgiving:
DC Public Libraries are closed for the federal holiday
Smithsonian museums are open
DCSAHP Tip: Thanksgiving is one of the zoo's busiest days of the year. Plan accordingly!
Winter sight-seeing and activities start this week, too:
National Sculpture Garden's ice rink opens on November 23. Note: Children are not permitted to use skating aids, such as penguins or seals. More information here
US Botanic Garden's "Season's Greenings" holiday exhibit opens on November 28. It will feature a model train display in the gated garden and models of DC's monuments and landmarks in the Conservatory. More information on the holiday display here
